Pasta Delight

For those of you who are dating, married, or just getting to know each other here are some tips to wine and dine your significant other.  Italian food is one of my favorites so I have decided to be biased and create a date centered around the world of pasta, bread, and cheese.

Usually, a date starts with dinner.  There are many Italian restaurants around town.  One of the most well known may well be Olive Garden located at Hwy 6 and University.  They have a great selection, but at times can be busy.  If you are looking to spend less money than a safer bet may be Fazoli's, which is located at the intersection of Harvey and George Bush East.  Another place you might want to venture is Mr. G's located on Texas Ave.  Lastly, a new Italian restaurant opened at the end of the summer named Luigi's.  It is located at the intersection of Rock Prairie and Hwy 6.

Now, a good date does not end with dinner.  A movie also has to follow.  To stick with the Italian theme you can rent "The Italian Job".  This movie will fit the needs of both you and your date.  For the guy you have fast cars and Charlize Theron and for the girls you have Mark Whalberg and cute mini coopers.

Hopefully, this date ends well and it satisfied all of your Italian dreams.  Happy dating!
